UPCATET 2022 application process has started on March 1 in online mode. The last date to register for the exam is April 30 and the application fee has to be paid by May 2. The exam will be conducted on a window of two days, on June 16 and June 17 across eight cities of Uttar Pradesh. This year, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda is conducting the exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Agriculture, Fisheries Science and Veterinary Science. How to Apply for UPCATET 2022

UPCATET 2022 application process is completely online. Candidates will have to visit the official website of the exam to complete the registration and application process. Here we bring the step by step process to apply for the exam.

• Visit the official website of UPCATET 2022 – online.upcatetexam.org.

• Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.

• Enter the mandatory details such as programme, name, contact details, category and date of birth.

• After registration, a username and password will be generated and candidates will have to log in to complete the application process.

• In the application form, enter personal and academic details, select exam city preference and upload documents.

• The final step is to pay the application fee in online mode (Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking). The fee is INR 1,250 for General and OBC category candidates and INR 1,050 for reserved category candidates.

UPCATET 2022 Application Process

For UPCATET 2022 registrations, candidates have to fill out the application form online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates have to visit the official website and click on the 'New Registration' tab and click on the 'I agree' checkbox. Upon clicking on the 'New Registration' tab, candidates have to fill up their basic details including contact details followed by which the registration credentials will be generated. After this, they have to log in and fill up the complete UPCATET 2022 application form and pay the application fee. Candidates have to pay the application fee online (via net banking/ debit card).

UPCATET 2022 eligibility criteria for different BSc and BFSc courses is as given below: UPCATET Eligibility Criteria

• BSc (Honours) Agriculture/ BSc (Honours) Horticulture/ BSc (Honours) Forestry: Candidates should have cleared Class 12 with Agricultural Science/ Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subject to meet UPCATET eligibility criteria.
• Bachelor in Fisheries Science (BFSc): Candidates should have cleared Class 12 with Agricultural Science/ Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subject to meet UPCATET 2022 eligibility criteria.
• BSc (Honours) Home Science: Candidates should have cleared Class 12 in the Arts stream with Home Science/ PCB/ PCM/ PCMB/ Agricultural Science subject to be eligible for UPCATET exam. Only female candidates can opt for this course, informs the official website.

Age limit: As of December 31, 2022, candidates should be more than 16 years and less than 22 years in age. However, for the BVSc&H course, candidates should be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years in age as of December 31, 2021. It may be noted that candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category have an age relaxation of five years for any course they apply for.

Candidates will be able to download their UPCATET 2022 admit card by logging in with their registration credentials. To download the admit card, candidates needed to enter details such as their registration number/ full name, date of birth, and course. UPCATET 2022 Result

The exam authority will declare the UPCATET 2022 result on the official website of the exam. To check the UPCATET result, candidates need to enter their roll number/ registration number, date of birth, and course. UPCATET results will appear on the screen and they will have to download their scorecards. The result or scorecard will also carry information on the section-wise and overall scores and percentiles along with the cutoff marks. 

UPCATET 2022 Cutoff

The UPCATET 2022 cutoff will be released along with the result. It may be noted that the minimum cutoff percentage to qualify for the exam is 20 per cent (for the General category) and 10 per cent (for SC/ ST category). The exact marks will be released on the day of the result. 

UPCATET 2022 Counselling

Candidates qualifying in the UPCATET exam are called for the counselling round as per merit. In the UPCATET 2022 counselling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses and universities.
